ABOUT OUR TEAM

The Card Team brings to international development and production years of creative experience in motion pictures and television. Working out of its European and Beverly Hills and Miami bases, the Team is shaping some of the most unique entertainment based on award-winning original conceptual creations. The Card Team is a collection of deep expertise in entertainment law, international distribution and international coproduction, finance, motion picture and television development and production. Card’s work has featured such major talent as Tom Hanks, Jodie Foster, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Claude Chabral among others. Our profession is adventure in dreams, fantasy, and historically sophisticated drama. Spencer Howell

Spencer manages and directs all legal and financial business of the company’s international operations. He is also deeply involved with all strategic planning and creative aspects of the company’s current and future ventures. Spencer is an expert in international affairs and commerce and regulates all operations for Card International and its subsidiaries. He also identifies and develops all strategic planning and creative headings of the company’s current and future ventures.

Zoe Bowthorpe

Zoe manages the company’s movie, television and international coproduction development. With a background as a researcher and historian, she is managing Card International’s scripting of Nation and its anthology series, American Indian Story. Zoe is also overseeing story development of Torquemada – the fifteenth century tale of Queen Isabella of Spain and the lead of the Spanish Inquisition.

Brendan Burns

Brendan directs the creative side of development at Card International. A producer, screenwriter, and actor, Brendan has worked extensively in film, television and the theater, opposite such luminaries as Robert DeNiro and Tommy Lee Jones among others.

Brendan’s own screenplays and projects have been optioned at Paramount, Jaffe/Braunstein Films and other important companies. His story and treatment “Hidden Valor – Women of the SOE”, was first optioned by the producing team of Sanford/Pillsbury and is set for international coproduction in France.

Sasha Evstratenko

For over 10 years Sasha has worked with the company after beginning heading up a translation team on a picture Card directed in Ukraine. Sasha built DirectorsNet.com with mini DGA in Los Angeles.

Eric Downs

IT Director, Executive Assistant to CEO – Beverly Hills

Eric heads up the company’s IT projects and communications. He is U.S. Executive Assistant to the President.

Eric is also an accomplished professional musician and music producer.
